Fritzing
The led's are representational for the neon light strip/ the power supply on the right is 12v and the left 5v, both coming from the same unit

still no motor movement, but closer on the box design and lighting
glassed in sunroof, soon to be hidden
coated a side of the box to look as if the box is wet
more crushing
mock up of template to hide the top rails where the sunroof is glassed in
crushing
First neon test

sunroof process updates
building da box
crushing box and fiberglassing into position from inside the box
Chickin' and Waffles, great guy but refuses to use the litter box
figuring out readings from photocell
Dishes are done on this computer.
VW MK3 Bentley wiring diagrams
H-bridge reference
Resistance readings between all wires to designate the common wires specific to each coil on the motor
computer power supply with 12,5, and 3.3 volt rails. 12v rail @30 amps

Paragraph, work in progress
To acquire or deserve as a result of effort or action is to earn. This piece questions what I value. Light and its ubiquitous state has adopted a misconception of being given. I allow the viewer to disperse this luxury that I remove from my own control. The neons illuminate a warm gold glow as symbolism of its worth. The motion of the opening works as an extension of how much is earned. The cardboard box suggests solitude and vulnerability through its crushed facade and compromised structure.

Psuedo attempt and sketches for Final
Photocell; when the analog input sensor detects the value of light
Neons in parallel; the digital output turns on when the photocell reads darkness according on the closeness of the viewer
Motor; the motor turns on and reacts with one of its 3 functions when the photocell reads the light value
void loop
the value of the photocell reads and stores the values of light pre-determined through set values from serial print readings for each of the 3 functions of the sunroof and on and off for the neons.
if (the value of the light is slightly dimmer than its brightest value then the first function of the sunroof turns on)
if (the value of the light is slightly dimmer than the above value then the second function of the sunroof begins and the first sunroof function ends)
if (the value of the light is at its dimmest value that has been pre determined than the third function of the sunroof begins and the second sunroof function ends and the neons turn on until light reaches is detected enough to reverse as the viewer walks away)

psuedo
Psuedo Code
When the viewer sits down on the chair the photocell detects the absence of light and turns the led’s on and the speaker on. When the viewer stands up and walks away the photocell detects light turning the components off.

The circuit/ rats nest, too afraid to clean it up and risk shorting it before the crit
When the photocell senses no light or when somebody sits on the seat the 12v LEDs turn on
The second output, the speaker works off of the same values of the input to trigger the movement and a great malfunctioning sound from the speaker(found object), at the same time the leds turn on.

Processed Noise Pollution
Public noise pollution has an unconscious effect on the human ear. The Processed Noise Pollution system re-circulates the conscious and unconscious noises that resonate pollution, but only through deep low frequencies. The high and mid-range frequency sound waves that exist in our everyday surroundings sometimes reach hertz levels that invoke our awareness of the piercing sound. The PNP will eliminate these mid and high frequencies through its analysis of the sound wave determining its wave parameters and filtered through its crossover, releasing equally as damaging low frequency decibels through its six thirty inch subwoofers mounted in a ported enclosure cantilevered across the stoplights at select intersections.
